Far in the frozen north of the Counter-Earth, bondmaids share whispered stories of Sinter Klass, the legendary Jarl of the frozen wastes. It is said he thunders out of snow on his war-sledge, drawn by eight enormous northern tabuk, their spiral horns rusty with the crusted blood of his enemies.
He seeks out slaves who have been dutiful and good to their Masters and rewards them with wood and amber beads. Slaves who have been neglected he rewards with a romp in the furs and a dash of slave perfume. Slaves who have been spiteful and bad may be spanked and whipped or carried off in his sack to learn their place in his hall.
Masters who are cruel for no reason may face his wrath, stealing from them, enslaving them or challenging them to a duel to the death – though even when he loses he seems to reappear the next year.
Klaas’ booming laugh and the giggling of his three bondmaids, Hi, Ha and He, along with the jangling of the bells of his war-sled heralds his arrival. It is traditional to leave a spoonful of slave gruel or a much-prized candy out for him and his girls.

The Black Caste has waxed and waned significantly in its fortunes over the last fifty years. From honourable instruments of death to creatures of scorn and ridicule hiding – rather than lurking – in the shadows, only to slowly grow in importance again. It can be hard to think of the caste as honourable, but they have their own codes, restrictions and way of life. They’re a society hidden within a society, and once they take coin, they will take a life or die trying. Save in the most exceptional of circumstances.
Most Goreans reason that a person who is marked for death by an assassin must be deserving to some degree. Paying the – usually exorbitant – fee to have someone killed, all but guarantees their involvement 
in criminality, espionage or some other skullduggery and the presence of assassins used to help keep people honest.
Diminished in number, but not in skill, the Caste of Assassins is rebuilding its reputation as dealers of death without equal – even amongst the Scarlet Caste. Now they have set their sights on Tyrtaeus the Slaver, a friend and ally to the agents of the Priest-Kings whose death would be a significant blow.
An artist has had to pull out of illustrating the next Tales of Gor adventure/supplement, due to being overwhelmed by other commitments (and due to me being a soft touch as an employer!)
As such I am looking for an artist to pick up the slack so I can get the next book out.
You don’t need to know Gor, though it would be helpful. I need someone willing/able to handle mild adult content (nudity) and with an appreciation of the ‘swords-and-sandals’, ‘planetary romance’ and ‘science fantasy’ aesthetic. Your style doesn’t have to match, but an appreciation or enthusiasm of the medium will carry well.
The job is for four, B&W (pref line art) A5-A6 scale illustrations at 300-600 dpi. Offered payment is $200 USD, with a bonus if you can supply the work within a 7 day schedule. This is negotiable within reason.
